BOOKING PROCEDURES AND AGREEMENTS
In order to reserve time at Blast House Studios, you must pay a 50% deposit in advance of the session. If a deposit is not received in a timely manner, your booking could go to someone else. This deposit will be applied toward your session cost. All services are $50/hr.
If it becomes necessary to cancel a session and if notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session, the deposit can be used towards rescheduling a new session. THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUNDS. No-shows and cancellations within the 48 hour time frame will result in a loss of the deposit.
Payment must be made in full for materials and fees immediately following each session. No files will be allowed to leave without full payment.
Billing for studio time begins promptly at the scheduled time regardless if the client is present. Time is billed in 1/4 hour increments. Be properly prepared by planning on arriving 15 minutes early or call ahead to potentially arrive earlier.
Blast House Studios Engineers will have the studio set up specifically for your session prior to arrival. This set up time is not charged to the client. Setup time by the client is billable studio time. This includes: load-in and instrument setup, level setting, client data preparation, CD burning, etc.
Please do not bring anyone with you who is not a part of the recording. This includes boy/girlfriends, friends, relatives, etc. The only exception is if you notify us prior to your session for staff approval. This will ultimately help you stay more focused and prevent distractions for the engineer. You will be held liable for any damages you and your guests cause to the studio.
Blast House Studios is not liable or responsible for the storage of client data. Clients are responsible to provide their own hard drive or storage devices to back up their data at the end of each session.
